Precautionary Boil Water Advisory has been issued for Lac La Ronge Provincial Park until further notice

A precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for Lac La Ronge Provincial Park Nut Point, Wadin Bay, and Nemeiben Lake campgrounds due to the seasonal start-up of the water system.

As a precautionary measure, consumers should:

 (a) Boil all water, used for drinking purposes, for at least one (1) minute, at a rolling boil, prior to usage;

 (b) Boil water to be used for other activities where it may be ingested, including:

  • Brushing teeth or soaking false teeth;
  • Washing fruits and vegetables;
  • Food or drink which will not be subsequently heated; and
  • ice cubes

 (c)  Not drink from any public drinking fountains supplied with water from the public water supply;

 (d)  Avoid swallowing the water. 

 (f)   Use an alternative water source known to be safe, if they do not wish to boil the water;
