Know Before You Go


  • Great fall camping opportunities are available .  A complete list of fall camping opportunities can be found here.

  • To self-register for camping, complete a self-registration envelope as instructed, enclose payment and drop into the self-registration station.  If paying by cash, ensure you bring correct change to the park.  If paying by credit card, you will need to go to the park administration office so your credit card payment can be processed.

  • Saskatchewan Provincial Parks welcome pets and appreciate responsible pet owners.  Pets are to be on a leash at all times and are not allowed in public buildings or in public structures, beaches or swimming areas. To ensure the safe enjoyment of all visitors to our parks, we ask that pet owners clean up after their pets and observe all pet regulations at all times.

  • There are currently no fire restrictions in place.

  • Due to an oil spill, do not consume water at Fort Carlton Provincial Park, Nisbet Trails Recreation Site, Sturgeon River Recreation Site, Saskatchewan River Forks Recreation Site, Wapiti Recreation Site, Tobin Lake Recreation Site, D. Gerbrant Recreation Site, Dragline Channel Recreation Site and Bigstone Cutoff Recreation Site.
